Welcome to our International Bible Study!
since July 4, 1996
We are a group of Christians from more than 10 countries, including United States, China, Indonesia, Sudan, Ghana, Germany, and Japan. Most of us are students of Kyoto University.
We meet in the Foreign Students Adviser's Room, Faculty of Agriculture, Kyoto University Japan, at 6:30 PM every Monday.
We read the Bible and discuss usually in English.
An American missionary guides the group during discussion.
We sing some hymns at the beginning of our meeting, accompanied by a guitar or a "juke box"(computer music recorded on mini-disks).
"Where two or three come together in my name, I am there with them."
Come and enjoy the Grace of our Lord Jesus Christ!
We sang some Christmas songs together at the foreign students' party in December 1994 in Old Miyako Hotel in Kyoto.
The photograph in the right taken then is used for a leaflet of Kyoto University to invite foreign students. We are internationally famous !?
We have a prayer session every Friday night. Once a month, we have it all night long, from 10:00 PM to 6:00 in Saturday morning.
Every 1 or 2 months, we visit a member's church together on Sunday,
one after another. There we sing a few songs, and one of us makes a testimony.
It's a good opportunity for us and Japanese church members to associate with each other.
We came from various countries on different continents. We belong to different races, cultures, and religious sects. But We are one by the name of the Lord. All of us are God's children!
